I am assisting one of our clients in the distribution sector in their search for an operations supervisor
Duties :
1) Client Service / Operations Management
- Ensuring the overall management of the client service team, including ;
- order confirmation ;
- order processing ;
- ensuring the most efficient shipping / delivery of goods to client.
- Providing high-level client service by responding to questions and requests.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the accounts/clients services team.
2) Inventory Control / Supply Chain
- Monitoring, tracking and managing inventory
- Coordinating with the warehouse manager to ensure the orderly receipt and delivery
of goods and the proper inventory management.
- Assist in replenishment planning with our replenishment, warehouse, and logistics
teams.
3) Logistics
- Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics and ensuring efficient receipt and
delivery of goods.
- Managing the onboarding process for new product SKUs with our various clients.
4) Other Responsibilities
- Reviewing orders for large projects, including multi-container orders.
- Collaborating with the senior management team and owners to provide strategic
advice.
- Undertaking all other related tasks and responsibilities that the company may assign
to you.
- Experience with client management, logistics, supply
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, lead, and motivate
- Experience with major national retail companies
- Experience in home decors and building products (an asset)
- Good communicator and team player
- Bilingual (French and English)
PROCESS: Initial interview with Gabriel Lemoine, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.
